We need more dance parties in the workplace!

Seriously!

A few minutes of dancing and singing to an upbeat song can do so much to:

  • shift your energy
  • relax your body
  • still your mind
  • allow you to get focused

We can spend so much time in a day just sitting at a desk getting stuck into our work, wondering how we will meet deadlines, our minds working overtime and our bodies still.

Dance changes us

You can’t think about anything else when you are dancing and singing out loud.

  • Movement shifts our mood and our perspectives.
  • Movement breaks up old patterns and opens the mind.

To get you in the mood to dance try:

  • Select your own and then dance, dance, dance.
  • Invite others to your dance break and watch your energy shift.

Your office isn’t quite ready for a dance party?(though you may be surprised) 

Try starting your day dancing for a week and see how it shifts things for you.

You are amazing. You are capable. You are unique and you are worth celebrating. So “just dance, dance, dance!”
